Everything you thought you knew about churches getting Grant Funding is about to change… ...and that’s a GOOD thing!  
If we haven’t met before, We’re Angela and Victor Myles Better known as The Myles Factor of TheMylesFactor.com. We’re also the former executives of Vision of Hope a multiple seven-figure community program that was birthed from a small outreach church.  
That being said, We didn’t always know what we were doing, and we spent a lot of our early years trying to get grant funding! We had no clue where we needed to begin when it came down to grants. Didn’t know how to operate a corporation, and definitely not how to properly account for future grant funding. After a few years of being lost and 15 failed grant attempts later, we finally realized that we were totally focusing on the wrong things.  
Funders didn’t see us as a church that wanted to do the work of the Kingdom, they saw us as any other corporate nonprofit business seeking support. Most churches are not automatically designed to work together with grant funders. And that’s the reason you’re NOT getting funding.
Our “aha!” moment came when (in a moment of extreme burnout from hustling and serving to do #allthethings for our community) We decided to give up on what wasn’t working (trying to go straight for the jugular and request hundreds of thousands of dollars with no track record or any other support) and actually, invest in the organization, and utilize our nonprofit tax status to build a funding foundation that lead us to millions.
Our first crack at grant writing cost us months of time, a bit of confusion, and TONS of energy and only had us build a lot of hype only to submit paperwork that was way off from what funders were asking for!

The Good News?

Just a year after that dreaded day we were able to pick up the pieces, structure a stronger grant proposal, and solidify our influence by understanding that it takes a plan and strategy to get started with securing funding.
 

That lead to us creating STELLAR multi-6-figure grant-funded programs one after the other.
