If we haven’t met before, We’re Angela and Victor Myles Better known as The Myles Factor of TheMylesFactor.com. We’re also the former executives of Vision of Hope a multiple seven-figure community program that was birthed from a small outreach church.

After a few years of being lost and 15 failed grant attempts later, we finally realized that we were totally focusing on the wrong things.
Funders didn’t see us as a church that wanted to do the work of the Kingdom, they saw us as any other corporate nonprofit business seeking support. Most churches are not automatically designed to work together with grant funders. And that’s the reason you’re NOT getting funding.
Our “aha!” moment came when (in a moment of extreme burnout from hustling and serving to do #allthethings for our community) We decided to give up on what wasn’t working (trying to go straight for the jugular and request hundreds of thousands of dollars with no track record or any other support) and actually, invest in the organization, and utilize our nonprofit tax status to build a funding foundation that lead us to millions.
