ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Built From Experience. Sustained by Stewardship.
Where This Work Began
Nearly two decades ago, my husband Victor and I began working alongside churches doing meaningful, community-centered ministry — the kind of work driven by calling, compassion, and deep commitment to people.
Like many church leaders, we were not lacking vision or faith.
What we lacked was access to clear guidance on institutional systems, funding expectations, and sustainable structure.
We were learning in real time — navigating responsibility, growth, and impact without having been formally taught how churches are evaluated, positioned, or supported at an institutional level.
That gap is where this work was born.
From Experience to Framework
Over time, what began as hands-on support for churches evolved into something much deeper.
A pattern emerged.
Churches weren’t struggling because they lacked heart.
They were struggling because they were being asked to operate in institutional environments without institutional preparation.
Funders expected:
- Clearly defined programs
- Credible systems and documentation
- Responsible governance
- Operational sustainability
Church leaders were rarely taught how to build those things — especially within a ministry context.
The work shifted from “helping churches figure it out” to helping churches design what funders trust.
That shift became the foundation of The Fundable Church.
Honoring the Foundation
The Fundable Church was originally co-founded by Angela and Victor Myles, grounded in shared values of stewardship, integrity, and long-term community impact.
Victor’s role in the early formation of this work reflects the reality that this was never theoretical.
It was built from lived experience, shared responsibility, and a deep commitment to serving churches well.
That foundation continues to shape the values of The Fundable Church today.
Why We Exist
The Fundable Church exists because churches deserve:
- Clarity before pursuit
- Structure without compromise
- Funding strategies that honor faith and accountability
This work is not about chasing money.
It’s about building churches that can sustain impact responsibly over time.
A Principle-Driven Institution
The Fundable Church is not personality-driven.
It is principle-driven.
While our story began with two people responding to a gap they experienced firsthand, the work itself has grown into an institution designed to serve churches with wisdom, restraint, and integrity.
Our commitment is simple:
Vision is sacred.
Structure is stewardship.
The Work of The Fundable Church Today
Today, The Fundable Church operates in the field of Church Fundability & Institutional Design — helping churches move from vision-led ministry to funder-ready infrastructure and systems.
As CEO and Chief Strategist, I lead this work with a clear focus:
Discernment before dollars
Structure as stewardship
Systems that protect both leaders and mission
Funding that supports impact — not strain it
We do not start with proposals. We start with design
SO NOW YOU MAY BE WONDERING...
Where to Begin
Most churches don’t need funding first.
They need readiness.
That’s why the recommended starting point is Funding Readiness — a process designed to help leaders evaluate alignment, capacity, and infrastructure before moving forward.
