When we first pulled this system out of our consulting agency, VMA Consulting LLC, and brought it into the world of churches and faith-based nonprofits, we weren’t sure how well it would translate to the more traditional church and nonprofit business world.
We knew the structural component would translate well for those familiar with ‘business or government’ because
We have already been at the table with city, local and federal governments plus nonprofit executives and leaders on the ‘planning & processes’ portions within their organizations. But this proven structure, which was helping government agencies elevate their viability and ultimately their fundability as a ‘service based culture’,
We weren’t as certain about.
To be honest…there was a lack of connection in the system because it has a lot of corporate and business level strategy to it, that most small churches and nonprofits are just not privy to understanding. So, it actually took us a little while to arrange some of the pieces to support the differences and the levels of a new or newer social and faith entrepreneur deals with to achieve growth and hit new funding goals.
Fast forward to today… and in the short time this Faith Driven version of the “Vision Builder’s System” which is now called The Fundable Church Model was responsible for helping us grow a faith-driven nonprofit and was:
- Used in over 10 types of sustainable community programs
- Served over 20,000 individuals
- Recognized in Leadership as the Dynamic Duo, Community Champion and Unforgettable Heart Awards
- And, been credited with $9M in funding increases
